Bubbles & Nibbles on Arrival

Entradas/Starters

  • Pate

    Pork & chicken served with freshly baked Portuguese bread sliced, accompanied by a tangy Quince Jam (marmalade)

  • Croquetes de Camarão

    Prawn cocktail served with shredded lettuce in an indulgent Marie Rose sauce. Topped with avocado. (Gluten free option)

  • Sopa de Caldo Verde

    Creamy potato, spinach and chorizo soup, served with toasted Portuguese bread slice.

  • Cubos de Galinha

    Bite size chicken cubes in a spicy piri piri sauce, served with celery and blue cheese dressing.

  • Tostinhas da Serra e Mirtilo Vermelho

    Creamy goats cheese topped with a tangy cranberry jam on freshly toasted Portuguese toast with a drizzle of olive oil and garnished with rocket salad.

Mains

  • Rolo de Peru

    Turkey with sage & onion stuffing wrapped in smoked streaky bacon. Served with all the trimmings.

  • Pernil
    Ham hock served on a bed of mash potato accompanied by winter vegetables, apple sauce and delicate gravy.
  • Abobora Recheada
    Roasted butternut squash, stuffed with rice, red beans, mushrooms, mixed peppers. Topped with goats cheese fresh pomegranates and a squeeze of zesty lime.
  • Bitoque Porto Douro

    Rib-eye steak cooked in a butter garlic wine sauce topped with fried egg.
    Served with salted fries and house salad. (£5 surcharge)

  • Robalo

    Oven baked sea-bass on a bed off seasonal vegetables, sweet potato, garnished with a fresh Verde sauce.

Desserts

  • Pudding da natal

    Christmas pudding with port and brandy cream.

  • Pastel da nata
    Egg custard tart served with Brandy butter ice cream.
  • Arvore de chocolate
    Cocoa sponge topped with a layer of white and dark chocolate mousse finished with a chocolate glaze, served with of pouring cream.
  • Tabua De queijo
    (Gluten free option request gluten free crackers) A selection of Portuguese cheese, butter, Portuguese marmalade, grapes and crackers.
